Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your Hemdem account and related data at any time. Deletion can't be undone.
From the mobile app
1. Tap your profile photo in the top right. 2. Open "Edit". 3. Tap "Delete My Account" at the bottom of the page and confirm.
From the web
1. Log in and go to your Profile. 2. Open "Edit Profile". 3. Click "Delete My Account" at the bottom and confirm.
If you can't access the app
Email [business details required] from the address linked to your account, or use the Contact page form, with the subject "account deletion request". After we verify your identity, your account is deleted within 30 days.
What is deleted?
Your profile, photos, test answers and the tests you created, posts, comments, likes, statuses, trails, messages, matches, coin and point balances, notification settings and device notification records.
How long does it take?
Deletion from the app happens immediately. Data is purged from technical backups within 30 days. Limited records we must keep by law (e.g. purchase records held by the app store) are kept only as long as required.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel a Premium subscription on Google Play or the App Store; cancel it in the store settings so it doesn't renew.
Anonymous accounts
Logging out of an anonymous account automatically deletes the account and all its data.
