KVKK Disclosure Notice

Under Article 10 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as the data controller we inform you about the processing of your personal data as follows.

2. Categories of personal data
Identity (name/nickname, date of birth, gender), contact (email), visual records (profile, post, status, trail and chat photos, verification selfie), location (approximate location and trail locations), customer transactions (coin, Premium and purchase records, support requests), transaction security (IP address, device info, session logs), marketing/advertising (advertising ID — subject to consent), user content (test answers, posts, comments, messages) and preferences (gender interest, language, notification settings).
3. Purposes
Running membership processes; providing matching, compatibility, Discover and messaging; operating location-based features (distance filter, Trails); sending notifications; handling paid services and in-app purchases; running advertising; information security; resolving complaints and requests; detecting and removing unlawful content; informing authorized bodies.
4. Legal grounds
KVKK Art. 5/2-c (establishing and performing a contract), 5/2-ç (legal obligation), 5/2-e (establishing, exercising or protecting a right), 5/2-f (legitimate interest) and 5/1 (explicit consent — location data, push notifications, personalized ads and cases where international transfer relies on consent).
5. Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to our service providers for hosting and operating the Service (Supabase — Singapore, Vercel, Expo, Google, Apple, OpenStreetMap/Esri) and, upon request, to authorized public bodies. Since some of our servers are abroad, international transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards set out in KVKK Art. 9 (standard contracts) or your explicit consent.
6. Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated or partially automated means, through the website and mobile apps: sign-up and profile forms, in-app interactions, device permissions (location, camera, gallery, notifications) and cookies.
7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
To learn whether your data is processed; request information if it is; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know third parties it is transferred to at home or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under Art. 7; request that these actions be notified to third parties; object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
You can send your requests to [business details required] from your registered email address or in writing to the address above, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller. Your request is resolved free of charge within 30 days.
