Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. On Hemdem we use cookies and browser storage for the purposes below.
Essential cookies
Authentication cookies that keep you signed in (those starting with sb-…). If you take a shared test without an account, your answers are kept in a cookie for up to 3 days so they can be saved when you sign up or log in. The Service can't work without them; they don't require consent.
Preference cookies and storage
Your Discover, Tests and Posts filter preferences are kept in first-party cookies; the theme (light/dark) and whether you've seen the intro are kept in your browser's localStorage. These only let the app remember your preferences.
Advertising cookies
When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, cap frequency and measure performance. Where required by law (e.g. the European Economic Area, the UK), visitors are asked for consent first.
Analytics
No third-party analytics cookies are used at the moment. This page will be updated if that changes.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies prevents login. You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
